This uncredibly beautiful country villa is situated right in the heart of the best-kept secret of Italy, Abruzzo. It has stunning views of the majestic Majella mountains, is walking distance to the sea, an hour from the nearest airport, Pescara. It is close to 2 very pretty coastal towns of Vasto and Ortona and the inland town of Lanciano. As Abruzzo is based in the centre of Italy, which has a very good motorway system, it is very easy to get to many places including Rome, Bologna, Modena, Puglia and Tuscany.

The estate consists of 2 houses the larger house is 2 stories and is made up of 2 kitchens, 4 bathrooms, 4 bedrooms and 2 sitting rooms. With 2 terraces one facing South and the other West, enabling you to enjoy the sun all day long and in the evening with a nice glass of local wine watching the sunset over the mountains.

The second smaller house has 2 stories. Which consists of a kitchen and sitting room downstairs with a lovely wood burner surrounded by an old stone fireplace, superb in the winter to cozy up next to. Upstairs there are two large bedrooms both with ensuite bathrooms, with a large terrace upstairs. The large ground floor covered terrace is ideal for alfresco dining in the summer months and where most of the days are spent.

Finally the outside, probably the icing on the cake, is the large swimming pool. The pool area has an additional children’s/ Gin and Tonic/jaccuzzi attached with a fountain that flows into the main pool. The undercover dining area can also seat 20 people, has an outdoor and indoor shower with toilet, a large BBQ, gas oven, sink and fridge. The views of the Majella mountains are outstanding and this area has been used on many an occasion to celebrate birthdays, weddings and engagements.

The estate also has a couple of large outbuildings, which can be used as garages, workshops or storage areas

All of the above has been lovingly renovated and restored to a very high standard by the current owners using locally sourced products in keeping with the local Italian architecture.

There is plenty to keep you entertained with the built in outdoor giant chessboard and floodlit boules area. If the easy life isn’t for you then the 80 or so olive, fruit, citrus and fig trees from which you can pick an array of seasonal fruit all year round, will keep you occupied. Alternatively you can connect to the longest coastal cycle path in Europe in less than 5 minutes (currently under construction).
