The town of Pianella is in an ideal position, close to both the Adriatic coast and airport. It is on a plain at 236 metres above sea level and is known as La Terra dell-Olio, the ‘Land of Oil' which is famous with food lovers throughout Italy. The many olive groves can be seen from the surrounding roads approaching the town.

Pianella is a historic town with a beautiful historic centre. With a population of 8,600, there are plenty of amenities in the town including banks, post office, restaurants, pizzerias, bars, pharmacies and shops.
Pescara city with its Internatinal Airport and the white sandy beaches is reachable in 20 minutes drive.
